World Ethnosport has become a member of the General Association of Asia-Pacific Sports Federations (GAAPSF).
The headquarters of the General Association of Asia-Pacific Sports Federations in Beijing hosted the ceremony of awarding a certificate of membership to the World Ethnosport Society, which was represented by President Dr. Alexey Kylasov (Russia) and Vice President Vladislav Redkin (Latvia).
In addition, the GAAPSF Committee of Traditional Sports and Games, headed by Dr. Alexey Kylasov, was created within the structure of the General Association of the Asia-Pacific Sports Federations.
After the ceremony, negotiations were held and a cooperation agreement was drafted, which was signed by the heads of the organizations – GAAPSF Executive Chairman Ma Venguang and World Ethnosport President Dr. Alexey Kylasov.
One of the key points of the agreement is the formation of the GAAPSF Committee of Traditional Sports and Games, which will include sports federations, developing sports that have an ethnic flavor.
