Joseph Rashidi Salumu Kamangu made his first trip across the continent in the new position of vice president of the Ethnosport World Society and representative of the UNESCO Advisory Board on Traditional Sports and Games.
The route of the first visit held in South Africa – Republic of South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Malawi and Zimbabwe. He met with the keepers of traditions – organizers of traditional games, scientists and officials.
During the visit, Joseph Rashidi Salumu Kamangu met his colleague from the United World Wrestling Malam Barka Akoda from Niger, Technical Director of the UWW African Wrestling Committee. They are discussed issues of preserving of kabubu traditional wrestling, developed by Joseph Rashidi Salumu Kamangu. During the meeting was agreement about next joint visit to West Africa.
