President of the World Ethnosport Alexey Kylasov took part in the meeting of UNESCO experts on the theme “Traditional Sports and Games Interactive Atlas of Cultural Interactions along the Silk Roads”, which took place on December 4-5, 2018 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
The meeting of UNESCO experts on traditional sports and games was held in the framework of the international conference \»The Importance of the Great Silk Road: Present and Future Development\».
The purpose of the meeting was to develop common approaches to the cataloging of traditional sports and games for the subsequent presentation of content in the Interactive Atlas, which is one of the projects of the UNESCO Silk Roads international online platform: https://www.unesco.org/silkroad/ Among other projects Interactive Atlas — music, cuisine, visual arts, crafts, etc.
Scientists, researchers and representatives of international organizations were invited to participate in the meeting: Alexey Kylasov (Russia), Malgorzata Bronikowska (Poland), Meng Tao (China), Pere Lavega (Spain), Pierre Parlebas (France), Ravishankar Sahu (India), Soraya Chung Saura (Brazil), Finn Berggren (Denmark), Khalil Ahmed Khan (Pakistan), Erdenetsogt Dorzhpalam (Mongolia) and others.
