The World Ethnosport Society announces the entry of Anastasios Pantazidis from Greece to the Council and the appointment of Executive Director.
Anastasios Pantazidis is a former athlete, coach and referee in various sports, and for many years was the president or administrator of sports clubs and federations. He has worked as an adviser to Greek government institutions and has been a member of development, fair play and tournament organization committees in Greece and abroad. He specializes in project management and crisis management, while continuing to be active in sports administration. For the last five years he has been developing traditional games and competitions.
The powers of the executive director include the creation of an international system of ethnosport, consisting of organizations of traditional sports and games recognized by the World Ethnosport Society.
